I had watched the Geography videos given by you and they are very nice, informative and highly inspirational.
The sentences such as:
You( Humanbeing) are only 200 thousand years old but you have changed the face of the world (which took some billions of years to come to this present position) despite your vulnerability you have taken possesion of every habitat and conquered swathes of territory like no other species before you.
The Once mighty river Jordan is now just a trickle its water has flown to super markets all over the world in the form of fruits and vegetables.
Etc etc..... made me feel sorry for the future generations because the present generation is destroying everything without leaving a trace for the coming generations on this earth. until this point of time I just thought that our earth and the biological systems are facing some problems because of human activities but after watching the videos,, now my expression is " OH MY GOD.. WE HAD DESTROYED HALF OF OUR EARTH, what are we doing???? ".
But atlast the sentence in the movie HOME " Whats important is not which is gone but what remains" made me feel comfortable and the developmental activities taken by some countries shown in the movie HOME are highly motivational.
one must feel responsible towards conservation of water, fuels, electricity etc.
Why not turn off the electrical appliances, taps which are not in use...
WE NEED PRACTICE BEFORE PREACH...
OUR CONTRIBUTION MAY BE JUST A DROP IN THE MIGHTY OCEAN
BUT THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE DROP CANNOT BE NEGLECTED.

Tonsuring the beauty of earth is what we have been doing all along... i suppose...
rather than limiting the use (rather misuse) of resources...
the objective is that the world should find peace by equitable distribution of scarce resources or else
we keep on moving on the path of Intense Individual Greed and end up doing nothing in terms of Societal Greed ((affection for all in the society rich n poor alike))
in this process of growth we are to feel responsible to Earth, its varied ecosystems, plant, animal and abiotic diversity i.e air water soil etc...
maybe then ...... WE WILL ALSO SURVIVE.... PEACEFULLY
Do you agree????
individual effort also helps in solving this problem
At the same time we should always SCALEUP this same idea to
schools, colleges, universities...
so that it becomes part of our society and collective consciousness
